This was such a great video! I already have trouble with staying focused enough to actually retain information, so after I got a 50 on the MCQ for module 2 of F1, I panicked that I couldn't recall the things I remember being the easy part in college. It's reassuring to know I'm not behind. Thank god I have a full year of part time classes where I can easily study 30-40 hrs. My goal is to knock out the whole thing before I start working.

Thanks man, this video is really encouraging !!! I just started studying FAR and I'm working full-time. So far my plan is getting up around 4 a.m. five days a work and studying 2 hrs each morning before work. I haven't been able to add evening studying so far because I'm always tired after spending almost 2 hours in traffic getting home. I've been out of school for about 3yrs now so getting back to studying mode has been challenging to say the least but it's slowly coming back to me. I've been trying to watch the lecture and take notes but it's not really working for me. So I think i'm just going to read the lecture at my own pace and forget the videos altogether. I'm giving myself 2 months to just read the text and take notes all my notes. After that then I'll begin the review process and practice exams . Excellent video and I really appreciate the advise!!!

Thank you. It was good to hear from someone who used Becker. I have 3 kids and trying to do this and definitely been questioning if I can. It was encouraging to know you weren't getting all those multiple choice right the first time through and still got a 90 on the exam. I am hoping I can stay the course but I do expect to study for FAR for at least 3 months because I don't have time to treat it like a job- just trying to get through one section a week.
@SeanTodd4 жыл бұрын
Angela Chapman it’ll take a lot of time but if it’s what you want then go get it! Knowing how much my mom did for me, although I’m sure the rewards offset it, I can only imagine being a mother is far more difficult than passing these tests. If you can be a mom to 3 kids im certain you’ve got this in the bag!

I am still unsure, which review should I choose. 1) Gleim - MAYBE, but I am afraid of overwhelming material. No mobile version, only flash cards in the most expensive. 2) Roger - MAYBE, but I don't like his book. I think it focuses on memorizing instead of on explaining. 3) Wiley - YES??? It looks quite perfect for me, but it's expensive (I just missed a huge discount) and it doesn't have audio, which you can download and listen to while driving. 4) Yaeger - NO - Their books look like short notes, too less exercises and I don't like his accent (I'm not an English native speaker, so it's important for me). It seems too be not enough. 5) Surgent - NO - I don't trust this system. 6) Becker - NO - Great, bu too expensive. I'm very surprised because a lot of people say that Wiley doesn't have too much explanation in books, but I think it and Becker have the most complete books. I studied accounting, but not in the U.S., so I need explanations. The most important for me is a printed book with a lot of information which I need. I would also like to have mobile version and audio>/b>. I want to trust one review and focus on it, I don't want to have any supplement. Any advice? [I can be wrong I saw only trial versions of these courses.)
