There are 360 degrees in one full turn of a clock hand. That means there are 30 degrees for every 5 minutes the hand turns. The clock above reads 10:10 am, how many degrees will the large (minute) hand have turned when the time reaches 11:00am? The answer is 300 degrees. Not 270

5 mins at 30 degrees means 6 degrees a minute and it takes 50 minutes to reach 11:00am from 10:10am. Therefore, 6×50=300

The clock question at 22:30min should be 300deg, NOT 270deg. (50min/60min)*360deg=300deg OR 360deg/60min=6deg/1min therefore (6deg/1min)*50min=300deg

Great video. One suggestion - at 14:50 you refer to a clock a an example but this can be confusing. A clock almost always tends to tick on 1 second increments, so a longer pendulum is geared to still tick the same as a shorter pendulum. Maybe a simpler example of a wrecking ball on a crane?
@alecapin3 жыл бұрын
15:07 you have to measure the horizontal distance from the center of the elements to the top of the triangle. It’s not how you say it. The closest to the middle of the swing is the heaviest.

The time and degree question I disagree on... It's actually 300deg, the question asks when it is 11am not when the hand is on 11... Therefore to be 11am, it would have to be on the 12 position..!!!

very helpful, thank you. But re the spatial test with 2, 3D shapes, you mentioned that option D might have been a possibility, no, when you turn the shape by 180° the black dot would be on the opposite side. I agree re comments about the clock, I get 300° for that one, otherwise, really useful, thanks

The clock turns 360 degrees. If 60 minutes is 360 degrees and each 5 mins = 30 degrees the 50 mins would be 300 degrees! (30x2=60, 360-60 =300).. 270 degrees would be 45minutes!!!

Hi, the degrees of the turning clock question I believe is wrong, the answer should be 300 degrees shouldn't it?
@Dreadtothink7 жыл бұрын
some of the questions are annoyingly vague, for example the question posed at 10:30 asks you to rotate the shapes. but in my mind you can rotate them in two different ways not just one, spinning the shape around whilst remaining upright is just as valid as rotating the entire shape clockwise or anti clockwise. That i suppose is where i fail at these tests

I applied for Aldi store assistant . I have already did online assessment now they email me booked me for a assessment Aldi Assessment day After you have successfully passed the online tests stage, you will be invited to an Aldi group assessment centre. This will give Aldi recruiters a chance to test how you behave when faced with new tasks and group work. Check out our assessment centre page for more do’s and don’ts, Remember - you are only given one chance to impress Aldi recruiters. Examples of exercises you might need to complete during Aldi’s group assessment include: Written Test This test will ask you to write a case-study-prompted essay regarding one of the organisation’s business areas. Group Exercise In this task, you will be assessed on your ability to communicate and reach decisions as part of a team. You will be observed by Aldi’s recruiters throughout the exercise, so make sure to demonstrate your strengths and share your ideas, but also be ready to appreciate others’ input and develop on their points, and try to persuade others to your ideas and ask interesting questions. Most importantly - remain calm and speak clearly. Role Play Exercise You will be given around 20 minutes to work in a pair and analyse a set of information. You and your partner will then need to prepare your response. In the second part, your interviewer will play the role of a client and you will be representing Aldi. In this task, you will need to prove your negotiation skills, teamwork and analytical thinking. Written Exercise In this exercise, you will work on your own to prepare a response to a case study problem, in the candidate brief provided to you. You will need to develop your arguments fully, and will need to persuade the recipient towards your team’s recommendations. The best practice is to start by analysing all the information and planning your response; only then should you start writing your response. Be sure to check your grammar and spellings throughout the essay, and be cautious of the time that you have been allocated - sometimes it might be better to skip some points in order to finish in time. If u reply me with some similar example I will wait for replay please

I have a question. If an external recruitment agency works on behalf of an employer and provides these test at: 1) basic level 2) intermediate level 3) advance level. What stops an employer asking the agency working for it to please provide 3) advance level for a vacancy at 1) basic level. Example: applying to work on the front counter at MacDonalds (basic level) but the test is at (advanced level) as if your applying to be the CEO of the company? At the end of day; the angency works for the employer so what stops that type of corrupt relationship? Any answer comment is appreciated. Thanks.
