The background music to this video sure is cheery. But a darker theme of minor and diminished key would be much more appropriate given the reality of sufficiently studying for these exams

Thanks very much. Great channel. It's nice to see someone who passed who doesn't say "and I did it in one month/standing on my head". Will follow your videos. 👍

I'm contemplating signing up in January. Managed to finish books 1 and 2. I'm in book 3 now. I'm just doing pre readings until I complete the series. Using the Kaplan and Wiley material since the book is quite voluminous.

Best of luck, I’m signed up for level 2 next June and am trying out Mark Meldrum’s prep material

Hi Marc, you mention sign up early. When you mentioned the text books and also those practices questions. Are those all from the CFA board when you sign up for the exam? Would the cfa provided material it’s enough to passed? Or are you recommended to using outside provider as well. ( we all have limited amount of time)Thanks Aaron

Hi Marc, I got a bit confused with the number of MCQs for Level I. The page shown in the timestamp 2:02 says 240 MCQs but after checking the CFA website, it shows 180 MCQs for Level 1. Did CFA reduce the number of MCQs?
3 жыл бұрын
Yes since they changed their format to computer based testing for level 1 the total MCQ's has gone down to 180 questions

I kept track of my score on all the end of chapter questions while going through the books and when reviewing spent more time on the areas in which I was struggling to balance out my score, hope that helps

Did you use HP or TI calculator? Textbook says either of those is essential, but there is no need to have both. I'm wondering which one was your choice

I used the BA II Professional, they all have the same functionality though, really doesn't make a difference

Hard to say as there is many aspects to economics. My best advice would be to understand the concepts rather than trying to memorize them.

I spent more time preparing for a level 1 than you did. It's impossible for me to do that in a short-time period, though some candidates might be able to do that. Thumbs up 👍👍👍
