Wow that's a lot of certs to take at once. What order are you taking them in? I would do A+, Net+, CCNA, Sec+ in that order. What other things do you need advice for?

I say skip A+ because you already work in IT and go for the others in this order N+,S+,CCNA.

I didn’t take notes so just memory. I’m not a big note taker I just watched his vids and did practice tests.

Hey thanks for the video, I just graduated with Bachelor in Cybersecurity last month but i dont have a lot of experience, i only did one summer internship last year , do you think Just taking the Cysa+ and skipping Security + since it sound like Cysa+ cover most of the Security + stuff

Hey Jamesy, just wondering since this is the first of many videos I am about to watch of you, but did you obtain a career job from these CompTIA certifications? I passed the Sec+ about two weeks now, and am thinking of passing the CySA+ while job hunting to increase my chances, but I would love to hear your input and what you did to obtain (or not) a job in the IT field.

I took all these certifications while I was already in an internship. Since then, I've had many interviews and a few job offers after getting these certs. However, that doesn't mean that these certs alone got those interviews.

i barely passed SEC+ you think the udemy course is good enough for CySA+?

That's what I used to pass the CYSA+ and I scored higher than I did on the Sec+. However if you struggled in the Sec+, I would take more time while studying before taking the CYSA+.

Do you think I should get CYSA+ or Sec+? I had Sec+ already and let it expire and am thinking about retaking just unsure if I should go up to CYSA

@@wasteland225 If you’re working in security already then restudying for the Sec+ might not be worth your time since you should already know most of those topics I would go for cysa+

If you get the CYSA+, I think it should renew your Sec+ certification.

Hey, I got the Comptai study guide book and practice questions and I have been studying, I have been taking the practice questions over and over as well as the assessment. Do you think it is useful? I’m nervous

I think practice tests is the best way of prepping. I wouldn’t take the same questions over and over if you’re getting the questions right. Try to find some free tests online and if you’re understanding the answers and why it’s right/wrong you’ll do good.
