First of all congrats on passing the NCLEX! It's definitely a nerve-racking step after finishing nursing school; if you've been there you know it. Those tips are so helpful :-) I also talked about another review course on my channel that I used to pass the NCLEX on the first try as well. Hope this helps others.

Congratulations! You look lovely and confident. I took the exam and failed last month. I was so depress. Listening to your video has been very refreshing. I'm back on my feet with confidence.

chykcath Thank you! What I will say is to really learn pathophysiology of the diseases. That helped me a lot. After I understood it, I practiced a lot of questions to make sure I really understood the nursing interventions. All the best if luck to you ! You can do it!

Hey Wendy, I just graduated from nursing school too and will be taking the nclex in few weeks. I am also using Uworld, I have a KZbin channel, we should support each other. Nice video

Did you use U World in nursing school?
@MzWendalineRN4 жыл бұрын
Alma maldonado No, I did not. I only used Uworld when I was prepping for the NCLEX. During school I used lippincott as one of my resources for studying questions.

Wendy, did you read on the topic you were going to do questions on or did you do UWORLD only and studied as you did the questions? Did you write down any notes?
@MzWendalineRN4 жыл бұрын
Jessica Fernandez great question! I strictly did Uworld questions and then studied as I came across topics that I felt I needed more information on. However, most of the time I didn’t need to because Uworld rationales are straight forward and clear to understand. In the beginning, I would rewrite the rationales in my own words. I had a goal to finish all the Uworld questions before my test, but doing that was taking too long for me, so I stopped. If you can, I would encourage you to rewriting the rationales in your own words, then go back to review your notes before you study new topics. This is very helpful in making sure you are truly understanding the topic. I hope that was clear. Let me know if you have any other questions 💕

MzWendaline_RN Thanks Wendy. I will be graduating nursing school in about 2 weeks and have purchased UWORLD. I’m just stuck in the way that I should study for this exam. I’m unsure if I should read my Saunders book before doing questions to refresh my mind or stick to UWORLD questions only and write down the rationales. Did you write down the rationales for every question or just those that you missed?
@MzWendalineRN4 жыл бұрын
Congratulations! First, relax. You got this! You don’t have to read Saunders before doing the questions. You can go right into studying the questions. Also, limit the number of resources you use. You don’t want to get confused.

How long did it take for you to pay for ur license after u took the nclex
@MzWendalineRN4 жыл бұрын
You actually pay for the NCLEX before you take the test and when you pass, they give you the license.
