Keep viewing. You need to set the options to disable touch and keyboard. Then, no, they can't click into the messages.

@@octanedistrict1561 you can either read the last message on the screen, or you can read a single screen of whatever thread is open. It’s not perfect, but it’s better than nothing and does prevent snooping.

For everyone complaining about still being able to see the messages on the screen, the fix for this is pinning the contacts you don’t want anybody to read at the top of your messages. that way you have to actually click on the pinned contact to see the messages instead of them just being on the screen as soon as you open the messages app.

It’s true. But one tiny problem is, one can simply just open the shortcut app and delete this setting (as seen on how to disable this imsg guided access) and thats it. And no, we cant lock the guided access app like we did the imsg. I have tried. Cmiiw.

You can also double-click the home button to use face ID for turning off guided access. Just make sure it’s enabled in guided access settings.

There is one teenee tiny problem to this… one can simply open the shortcut app and delete the setting, as what you did at last step (to disable back guided access on imsg), so unless if we can lock the shortcut app as well, but as far as i know, we cant, (I have tried to do this method to lock shortcut but the shortcut app is not even an option) it’s pretty much pointless. And all you can do is, cross your finger and hoping they dont know about that last step. Cmiiw.

I followed the instructions and turned off screen tapping. So essentially the only thing they can do is see the review of the messages and they cannot scroll. Privacy restored 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾😘🙌🏾

I have a iPhone SE it didn’t work. I was stuck in messages. It kept seeing triple click home button to exit and no matter how many times I triple clicked. It didn’t work. Had to reset the phone and go to settings and turn it off.

its not you just have to adjust the settings at the bottom where it says click the spots on the screen that you want disabled .
