It turned out really well, though it's really odd that it turned pink when you used two orange dyes :I I liked this tutorial because I'm also thinking of using Ion dyes to get a peach color, and it seems like I should use mostly the Salmon if the Blood Orange makes it THAT pink. I was going to get Salmon and Rose, but now I'm going to get what you got. If you were going for a more orange color, what would you have done differently?

I'm thinking it might've turned out so pink because my hair was so white when I put it on. A lot of dyes over compensate for people that have probably just bleached their hair and has more of a yellow tone to it, so you put a pink (red tone) color on yellow hair, you get orange. Same with the mint color Ion makes, if you put it on platinum blonde hair, it comes out more light blue than green. I didn't take that into consideration... So if I were to do this again, I maybe would've stopped washing my hair with purple shampoo until my hair had a more yellow tone again, or added yellow dye to the mix! Hope that helps!

I ended up getting the same dyes you did and I used more of the blood orange, but still diluted it a lot. it turned out a bit less orange than I wanted, but not as pink as yours. I think I'll just use the blood orange to condition it with when I want to maintain the color until it's more orange.
