Much respect for you guys crawling, working in that tight area. I'm 66 now but when I was a young man I had a job insulating houses with fiberglass insulation. We did walls, ceilings, basements, crawspaces , everywhere that you can think of. Not a very pleasant experience but I learned a lot. Like I said, much respect for you guys. Good video.

How old are you guys? Im 64 and luckily in great shape. I did my project under mine during the hottest part of summer last year in Florida. It takes a special breed to do work like that. Retired from construction helped me. After cleaning everything ,i put down plastic but just over lapped my plastic a lot . And no one else will be going under mine except me. If you guys do that full time, i give you great respect.

Thinking about trying to fix under my folks place. Probably want to have a fan blowing under the house to cool it off and basically wear a full body virus suit thing. Gawd man it's like a whole different world under there. It's so low in some places you have to shimmy along using your ankles and elbows 😳

That is a tight space. The mobile home we have is sitting higher. A lot more working room. We plan to move it soon and I was thinking maybe we should put it lower next time but maybe higher is better.

Man I have like 16-18" of shimmy space under our place. God I wish it was a foot higher. Thanks for the video.

I tell everybody if you have a single wide trailer put on a lot anywhere the first thing you want to do is give yourself at least 3 feet underneath so if you ever have to go there, it’s easily done

Drew I am in Arizona and just had a quote to replace the underbelly and insulation. $15,500 sound reasonable to you? I should say single wide 14x66 . $5500 to repair duct work
@Drewsroofingandhomerepair5 ай бұрын
Sounds steep to me but. Not many people like getting under 1

@@Drewsroofingandhomerepair thank you. I thought so too. The quote comes from a company that specializes in under your mobile home. Love your videos. I guess I might to try and tackle this myself. 60 year old a bit overweight female. Thanks again!

It’s not that easy to do. I hope you have enough room under your mobile home to work because if it’s tight it’s gonna be tough. You might want to see if you can get another estimate. Maybe you can come down a little bit

@@Drewsroofingandhomerepair i got some but it not really sticking to the old insulation. The underbelly is more fabric than plastic. We're doing foam boards plus a vapor barrier gonna use the 3m to still it to the boards
