1:10 division is an arithmetic function that determines how much one number is in the second, for example, 4 contains 2 deuces, because we can subtract it from 4 2 times, 10 contains 2 fives, because we can subtract 5 from 10 2 times . But no matter how much we subtract 0 from any natural number, it will not decrease, so there is an infinity of zeros there.

The reason -1 ÷ 0 is -∞ is because the complex explanation of why we can't divide by 0 is that any number divided by 0 makes Infinity, which i presume is the same with negative numbers.

The only way it will surpass the limit is if you're running on TurboWarp and have Remove Miscellanous Limits enabled, therefore it will not pause correctly in Scratch. Sorry :(

It doesn't set the pitch to -infinity, it just sets it to a really low value. *However,* it's possible to fully pause sounds using turbowarp's "remove miscellaneous limits" found in the advanced tab. This allows you to put pitch to -infinity. You can link your project to the turbowarp link using the remove misc feature (the link changes if it's enabled) inside the project.

This tutorial is pretty old, but I'm in a bit of a pickle. I am making a project with background music AND sounds. You can change the sounds, by clicking the arrow. I made the code like this: if then stop all sounds repeat until start sound [Thunder] until done. But the problem is, that it also stops the background music. How can I NOT stop the background music, while stopping the sounds?

Dont use stop all sounds, since your background music is a sound. You will have to restart the song from the starting
