It's required to submit near the nearest RTO. Even if you have left your last employer or company, the current employer should have offices in more than 4 states. This is for private firm.

In Maharashtra, RTO has started a new rule for BH registration where one need to submit proof of transfer from another state along with form 60. So only those government / private/ psu employees who are transferred to Maharashtra are eligible for BH series. This is effective from Feb 20, 2024.

@@niyatanjaria Yes One need to give all relevant documents every two years. You can sell the vehicle to anyone and the buyer need to pay Road Tax as per his eligibility. If he is eligible for BH registration, he can pay reduced tax else he will have to pay full tax.

Brother I have 2 questions: 1) I have heard tax is calculated on invoice price, that is excluding GST and Cess. But in your "All about BH series" video, you have mentioned 20% safety cess is also included and road tax is calculated on that. So only GST is excluded and not Cess? 2) In your "All about BH series video" I see you have mentioned you got refund of 15k as they had overcharged at 49k. And you said they have corrected the website now. So how come in this video it is still showing 49k as tax? Shouldn't it be 34k? Also need another help, Im planning to buy Verna this Diwali and ex showroom cost is coming at 17.37 L and the dealer is calculating tax on showroom price. When I told him about the rule, he said I need to pay tax on showroom price now and excess amount will be refunded. Is he Correct or just fooling me? Btw Im from Mumbai so my RTO will be Maharashtra

At the time when I was uploading video, this online system was not working so I couldn't check it. As soon as this online system allowed the payment for next years installment, I was shocked about my information given in last video so I had to made this one ..

See at this novice stage of BH implementation, even RTO people don't have the correct knowledge. How could we trust dealer for the same. Whatever dealers calculate is just an approximation. You have to check out what the actual slip of registration speaks.

Ex showroom is including 28% GST.. So you subtract 28% from ex showroom and then see in which category of tax your amount falls and accordingly use the formula I have given in the video on my channel

Whatever calculation RTO will do, you can always check in the receipt and if you find extra tax then you have give the tax refund form.. But the assurity is something that only RTO officer can give..

Hello Sir, I got my car registered in UP with BH number , I paid extra tax as calculation is done with ex showroom price (including GST) . RTO confirmed that it is coming from software and involve no manual intervention. Could you please guide how to get it corrected?

Same concern I too have. Even I have 22 BH series Harrier and 2 year tax is 49K as it was including gst

This is wrong practice, recently I booked a car they also said the same thing to me but after lot of debate they agreed to do it on invoice value. Not sure how can we fix this later
