I really enjoy your videos, particularly how you show the finished product/result before you demonstrate the process. Definitely more interesting. Keep the tutorials coming and thanks.

I have some in the dehydrator right now and I'm trying to grow some with the cuttings now. I thought about trying to make some pineapple wine out of the next time I get some. I cut mine up the same way works pretty good.

Gonna have to try cooking the trimmings for juice. But my idea to reduce waste has been simply not to be more sparing with the paring. I eat the core and don't even worry about the eyes that much.

Nice video Jeff and Wilma. You always amaze me; all the ideas and "tricks" that can be done with items that I honestly would have thrown into the garbage bin. I love the way you can find some use for most everything. I would imagine that was a fantastic glass of juice too. Have a great day and I can't wait for the next video.

Now that's what I call making a pineapple go a long way lol I can only imagine what you can do with a chicken. A big secret to making your food dollar stretch is knowing how NOT to waste. Brilliant !!!

Tonithenightowl G'day, thank you:):):) your right on the money there. When you see what I do with fish, you'll get a feel for what I could do with a chicken.

Hi Jeff, it be good if you keep on eye on pineapple and show us the development of the pineapple. How to have a home grown pineapple and how long it takes. BTW I like all your video :). Also when uploading the video put more tag words so that you can attract more viewers.

If you go to China you'll find that most of the pineapples are cut this way! When I first came to the US, I was always wondering: where does the helix go???? Is it a different type of pineapple lol

Marvelous idea and so thrifty ... but don't use those plastic bottles more than once as they are not good for food after its first use. leaks plastic into your food. use fir other things like fabric softener or broken dish wash liquid etc..
@mugsyjeff10 жыл бұрын
Wow, thank you, I wasn't aware of that, I thought the plastic bottles used for food was food grade plastic. thanks again, cheers

Actually I think you waste more energy boiling the pineapple peel than throwing it away. Peel is biodegradable and does not need any energy spent to decompose into soil.

The core has the most nutrition. The only reason for discarding it is if you have no teeth.
@gwendolynmyers42485 жыл бұрын
I use the core and meat of the pineapple put in a in bladder or juicer a 1/4 -1/2 UNSWEETEN yogurt 3 tablespoon of chia seeds I'm good to go with or without teeth wear full DENTURE sometimes in the house

You may not be wasting any pineapple, but you'll be wasting your TIME instead.
