The hesi is so good, u can explode out of it, pull up, head fake and so much more. Great move for creating space, playmaking or creating your own shot. Thanks for teaching

I took some years off basketball because of a knee injury. I learned to add lots of dribble moves but somehow they weren’t effective at all like they were back in the day. I just remembered the hesi and seriously that’s the move that makes all the moves work. It shifts the defender at your own pace and you can hit him with a countermove when you catch him in motion. It’s really THE best move in dribbling

This is great just what i need i have the whole package, its good to have counters, once i had one counter to one move i picked up i have been developing counters for my counters but on the real you should have 3 move jab step, pump fake and step back. Once you have them work on the counters and the counters to the counters i appreciate you coach, you have helped me improve my game so much its insane how far a person can keep growing and getting better!!

In order to make the Hesi effective, I have to convince the defender somewhat use the body language. Awesome video though!!

a key for smoother pull up you demonstrated but did not emphasize is that the 1st step should be always the inner foot so the last dribble drops before you take the 1st step. it will slow down the move by half a step though.

You just can’t be scared of contact. If you go up for a layup you can kind of jump into them to create contact and could get a foul
