Hello again. Well this is quite extraordinary as I was JUST looking at different approaches to colour matching when this tutorial notification came in!! Furthermore, I was actually trying out this exact method of 'match colour'. Prior to this, I was looking into doing the same kind of thing using curves and the alt / auto button - 'find dark and light colours' function for correct toning. I guess these could be combined. As always, your Photoshop methods and your way of teaching them are greatly appreciated. Thank you so much.

Yep - gotta give this a try! I do a lot of compositing - dropping 3D rendered characters or props into photo backgrounds. I can usually get the lighting matched up pretty well in the 3D apps, but this will help give the final image tat extra edge. Great stuff, Colin! See you Thursday! 👍
