Really interesting tutorial, thansk Colin! I'd never used this effect before, but I do use a lot of radial filters in LR for 'relighting' images. This gives so much more control - mindblowing stuff!

Love the tutorial! Unfortunately, I've tried to render my scene according to the instructions, but failed at the very beginning. The adjustment rings are not visible and I have no clue how to bring them - I don't know - back? Unhide them? So confuseeed ... :(

Typically I would do this sort of thing using exposure adjustment layers and masks to get more control but this is definitely a super quick way to achieve some nice lightening effects! I actually never knew about this feature within PS so might try it out on future edits, could be a time saver in some cases!
