Every trade needs a lot of intelligence, it's just a different kind of intelligence than what is needed at university. It's ridiculous that academics get so much more recognition and money than craftsmen of any kind. I have the utmost respect for anyone who masters their craft like that.

You are a very skilled person, really, you are!!! Please, could you help me with the needle, you often use: this hook with the small tongue, which slipping through the loop catching the yarn and securely close it by snapping to the hook.. . just the needle you use in the beginning of this video. How is it named, where can I look for it? If I search for crochet needles, there's never such a needle to find. Thanks to your friendly answer!

It is a latch hook. I asked too. I just ordered and received mine last week. I finally understand how to use it, now to learn to accomplish this lol. I am on a learning curve but determined and loving learning this.-John's wife
