A hydraulic bleed is periodically required to ensure air is purged from the hydraulic system. This ensures the shanks break back at the correct pressure and prevents premature wear to the plough. A manual hydraulic bleed should be conducted as part of your pre-season setup and daily pre-operational checks. If performed regularly, it should only take a few minutes.
