Julie, you are an excellent tutor, its so easy to follow what you do, thank you. How would you create a taper with a one bead increase in every row? You are creating 2 rows with the same increase. I understand that I would need to add a bead to the 2nd row, but I'm working with 15/0's so I cannot make too many passes or my bead will break. (For some reason I can't get my head around this, and I know I'm going to feel stupid once I 'get' it. Lol (but I need to see it to really understand, I guess. ) Thank you for the video! :)

You can perform increases in square stitch. It is also possible to perform increases in brick stitch as well, we currently do not have a video for that technique but can add it to our request list.

Great technique! Is there a way do do increases on the brick stitch?

how do you increase only one row ?

Instead of adding three beads, you would simply add two. See 3:17

@@beadaholique thanks, but what happens when you need to increase the last row in your work, since you need to have a row on top to increase, and in this case there isnt any

You haven’t showed us about how to remove the one dark brown seed bead out and protection the bottom end of seed bead ...

Hi Helen, we have another video that can help explain this. Once you've finished your weaving you can remove that dark brown stopper bead (Or whatever color you used) by undoing the knot with the tip of your needle. Then you'll thread that tail onto your needle and do what we call tying off. Then you'll just need to repeat that step at the other end of the beading. Kristy Asbury You can definitely use an increased stitch method (and decrease as well) to change the width of projects - these increases and decreases can be done anywhere in the project.
