Finally! Thank you so much for this video. I bought a replacement wing for my geriatric 306 (2001 model) and I no longer drive with one hand out the window holding the wing mirror up so I can see. I no longer have a duct tape finish to the bodywork, she's good as new. Ish

Restaurei o do nosso Peugeot 306 1.8 16 99 Seletion recentemente. Estava com o antimônio do guia corroído. Tive que cortar no sulco sede da trava. Refiz o sulco e ficou curto. Passei o maçarico na mola p tirar a dureza extrema, cortei um elo, uma volta. Tirei a quina deixada pela serra com a lima. Consegui remontar. A alavanca dos 3 cabos estava esbrugada e tive que refazer usando polímero de um cabo de chave de fenda. Demorou mas consegui. Ia viajar e, se arrependimento matasse eu já era... Melhor mexer com tempo. Ficou bom, firme, não sai a regulagem ao "bater" a porta. Viajei assim, 550 km do serviço até em casa 🏡. Faltam uns acabamentos. Tem a venda aqui no Mercado Livre Brasil novo por 30 dólares. Obrigado por seu vídeo. Parabéns. Feliz Natal.

Nice video. Interesting, I couldn't seem to find new mirrors for my 306 when we last looked on GSF about a year ago. Cable ties are holding them on now. The design of these mirrors is not very good.

I just grab them second hand if I ever need one. The actual glass I try and get from motorfactors. Why do you say the design is not very good?!

Lindo espelho. Bem limpos e regulados funcionam 100%. Tenho viajado de casa 🏡 para o trabalho (550 km)🛠️🧤🖥️⌨️ ida e volta duas vezes por mês feliz com os espelhos, agora o do motorista firme q não desregula.🪞

Sorry to see your comment only now, the design fault maybe just on after market replacements, but after some time, folding them back would become stiffer, and they would eventually break. I had 3 sets over 15 years and tried very hard to preserve them. My Subaru’s mirrors are original and have lasted 25 years.

Hi, I accidentally dropped one screw down that hole on the door. I managed to remove the door speaker hoping that it was behind it but its not. Any tips where it could have dropped? I wiggle the door but no luck. I tried removing the door card but it's very stubborn and i dont want to risk breaking something else as the interior is falling to pieces.

Remove the door card...takes 2minutes...then Magent on a stick.

It's quite important to make sure that the mirror glass is properly clicked in. I made this mistake, and as I drove down a bumpy country lane, I looked in my passenger mirror to see the glass dangling by the heated mirror cables 😳
