Wow! You have really inspired me! I had my own pet photography business back 20 years ago, with the some wedding and family photography but mainly outside. I now am keen to get into studio photography with newborns, older babies, kids and pets. You have so much information in your videos! They are the BEST!! Your photography is incredible! Thank you for doing these videos!

Beautiful babies and photos. I'm not so keen on some accessories such as the big artificial headdresses and the floral background, I prefer very simple, soft, neutral outfits, accessories, etc. But that's only my taste.

Wow! I loved your video and how you manage your day. Thanks for all the information - you make it look so simple but I sure it's not. Lots of great ideas but my favorite part is actually in your description where you give advice on photographing babies. It shows how much you care about the well-being of the babies. Yes, they are fragile and everything should be done to keep them safe - even if it means that you don't get the shor. Awesome work and i can't wait to see the rest of your videos.

Hi Fenna. I follow you from Huntington Beach, CA. Love all your videos -- It's fun to see your children and shopping trips and shoots and projects. I would love to see your editing workflow and your marketing materials and strategy. Your studio business model of letting clients see photos of the session styles & colors beforehand makes a lot of sense to me.

More information on lighting would be really helpful. Reasons behind where you put it, what flash power you typically use, your decision to aim speed light back vs the typical way forward, etc. You mentioned camera settings and gear used but nothing even about lighting. Otherwise your videos are extremely helpful🙏

Love the channel! Are your backdrops taped to the floor or something? I'm new to studio style photography and currently use a white piece of fleece fabric for most of my shoots so far and it never stays still and gets wrinkled etc. Any tips there?

What size is the wooden backdrop?
@alexisrose42214 жыл бұрын
This is probably a silly question but do you always make the parents move the kids themselves? I just feel like charging so much wouldn’t it be better to have an assistant ? (As a parent I personally wouldn’t mind helping! But I can just see some complaining about it asking for a discount ahhaha)
@FennaPhotography4 жыл бұрын
Love the question. As a mom myself, I rather touch and move my own child instead of a 'stranger' moving my child with the risk of upsetting my child. With a newborn I (as the photographer) pose the baby and the parents just watch. This is because I know how to pose and the baby might even wake up when they smell the mother. However with an older baby, I noticed the babies prefer a familiar person moving them instead of someone they don't know. I do help though, to place the baby in a bowl or position them correctly.

Hi friend Fenna! I would like to know if you could give us a video of some advise of how much to charge for sesion or the way you charge. Or is it that you do any kind of photography packages to sell???
@FennaPhotography6 жыл бұрын
Pricing is still quite a difficult point for me now. I know I could charge more, but I also want a photoshoot to be fun and affordable for the families. They come back often and almost always order extra digitals. I guess it's also quite hard to make a video about this, because it really depends on the financial climate in your country (currencies/national income etc)

@FennaPhotography6 жыл бұрын
At this moment I love working by myself and I can do 2-4 session a day and still spend time int he afternoon/evening with the kids. At night I edit (in my pyjama's haha), so I don't feel like I need an assistent right now. I keep my newborn poses simple and the parents like to sit next to their child. Also helps the children so feel comfortable. I guess it's also quite expensive to pay an assistent
