Wow, what a fabulous spot and just perfect conditions. Spoilt for choice, but what absolutely lovely images. Funnily enough we've just had a couple of days of thick fog and I've a lovely beech wood nearby. The trees are not quite as narly and twisted, but I got several images I love.

Magic forest indeed! The shapes of the trees plus fog made it all. About income of photography I would suggest do not neglect the prints on demand site, which selling prints. There are number of sites for now. For me its generating the main income

Both you and Nigel have offered very helpful suggestions for revealing visual order in the chaos of a forest. We live in an oak woodland. In winter inversion fogs that can last for weeks are common. The past few years we have escaped winter cold, fog and drizzle for the Sonoran Desert. This winter, encouraged by the pandemic, we are staying home. Armed with your tips and Nigel’s I’m looking forward to winter fog and drizzle with eager anticipation.

Great video and the forest is superb. After a chaotic week here in the USA I found myself relaxing more and more as the video progressed. This has inspired me to grab my 4x5 and head out into the woods. We have nothing so spectacular near where I live but just being in the woods and shooting will be very enjoyable.

Mads, loved the video! I too get very excited when I see an outstanding composition and lighting while I'm out with my camera. Many people think you can just create a composite to produce an image. No, its the actual experience when Mother Nature blesses you with the right conditions.
