What is your favorite sewing machine?

Bernina 930. I love it! Bernie helped me edge-stitch on miles of snap tape at 3 a.m. for a children's wear designer. Bernie made a tailored "skirt-suit" for my petite mom in pastel tapestry fabric, matching blue linen blouse, beige cotton voile blouse with tucks, cream Swiss cotton cloque blouse, beige and white poly print blouse, denim jacket for husband with simulated beadwork embroidery on the turn-up cuffs, quilts and doll clothes. Now I am weary of fast fashion. It is time to sew for Mimi. (Well, dear Sally, you asked!) When I considered turning this machine in for one that stitches airplanes flying toward each other, I got several passionate sermons telling me this would be total insanity! I listened.

I have a Rolls Royce too, but 3115 model from 1929 still using the treadle. It has a beautiful and long straight stitch and sews up to 12 layers of denim. ❤

Dear Frankiec-nd5cy, It may be a long time before I film anything with my Pfaff as I have many things to film before. I did look on KZbin and if you put in "how to operate a Pfaff 1222E" quite a few tutorials come up. I think it will be easy for you to find this information. When I do use my Pfaff I will be sure to show how to thread it and how I use it. I only use straight stitch and zig-zag. Happy Sewing!
