Looks easy, spent all day an turn once😂 I am more from IT / electric diagnostics background going deeper into the subject decaided to become fresh licensed locksmith, straight after course😂 I thought the 'mechanical side will be easy, but is not, I nearly dive up, trying all day 5 VAG family cars and one turned I think by case. You help me a lot with this very professional presentation. Thank You so much. By the way there is variations(Generations) from 97-03 03-05 etc and different picking method? I'vgot exactly the same pick, and one 'automatic' black lishi, what is opening 10 seconds but newest models 06, 08 plate, but no chance old bora, audis touareg 02, 03 plates. Thanks so much again.

Good eye, I just started watching videos of locksmithing so I am no expert AT ALL but I believe he probably missed one pick as you can see at 5:20 that the lish is not completely horizontal and when it does open it is completely horizontal. I could be wrong, just an observation.

Sure! It's all in the practice, just sit and practice picking until you can pick every lock 10 times in a row. You will soon master it.

Does this specific model A4 need to be picked before decoding , or can I use a decoder only? Like most vw/Audi.

I have never tried that, would always pick first as normally I need to get the door open anyway because the key is missing! If the key is not missing - just decode the key

There are only a few sequences so I believe the book is not required, you'll just get to know them after some practice.

From experience yes the alarm goes off and you need to press the unlock button on the key.
