Despite having a HDHP at work, my plan didn't qualify for an HSA, so since I'm retiring early was excited about choosing a plan that did so I could take advantage of one. Very dissapointed in the lack HSA plans on the site. I had one, and cost wise it didn't make sense for me. The two you showed in your video were horrible. It appears the government doesn't want us to be able to take advantage of the HSA tax benefits.

Yeah, if you are interested in an HSA, we definitely recommend working with some type of financial professional to determine if the savings and potential earnings on investments and interest will outweigh any additional costs when compared to a regular health plan. If may take a few years to build up enough in your HSA to make it worth it. Thank you for your feedback!

Hi! Depending on your state some carriers do offer HSA plans. You could opt for a Private Plan or Short Term Plan with Indemnity plans.
