@@chitsb lol for some reason they give a lightly darker or too lght shade actually my body is like a few shades lighter then my face so idk whether i should go for 120 or 115 in fit me or dewy or matte cuz i heard dewy is a bit darker and oxidises alot but its sold out in the sale ugh but my cheeks r really pinkish red

Also Malvika, I bought a matte fdn stick (Huda) online that’s darker than my shade. Can I balance it out by buying a dewy Kay beauty liquid fdn in a lighter shade? Or will it cause textural chaos? 3. How many shades lighter than your skin should the baking powder be?

This is the best video/tutorial I have seen so far about choosing foundation correctly and to set it properly. I have dry skin and as a beginner I was confused about which type of foundation I should apply because it turns very caky/flaky after application. TBH, if you're beginner or trying out any brand's foundation for the first time do not buy it online. I've done this mistake and wasted my money. Going to a store and manually choosing the foundation shade is anytime a better option. Once you know your shade for a particular foundation you can buy it anytime online. BUT AGAIN, DO NOT TRY TO BUY A FOUNDATION WHOSE SHADE RANGE YOU'RE NOT AWARE OF Hope this helps :)

Normally people say that their foundation oxidises..but for me the opposite happens..when i apply my foundation and set it its the perfect match to my skin but after 2 to 3 hrs the areas under my eyes and around my lips start looking whitish...can u please tell me why that happens and how i can avoid that...btw i am on the duskier side...
