Once tucked in properly, cotton sarees are very easy to handle as it is not at all slippery. On the other hand for first timers, do not go for satin sarees as they are difficult to handle and are very slippery. This is from a 17 year old who loves to wear sarees and has worn multiple types of it.

The most likely fabrics for farewell or freshers party is really sequin or georgette saree ... Also satin ones.. But they are somehow difficupt to deal with... At my 12th farewell i wore a sequn saree but i couldnt drarpe it so well..... Thats why. .. i would suggest a silk or cotton saree Mentioning that if you are going to wear a body fitted petticoat so please practice to walk in it.. its so hard to handle it... Infact saree se jyada difficult petticoat sambhalna ho skta h so please practice.... No matters which fabriic you are wearing... You are just gonna spotlight and glam of the day .. Girls 🥰🎀

So, I watched this video a bit late, but I swear, according to what you said, the outfit I have chosen will look good...... so it's a silk maroonish wine saree with a border but it's simple and with golden pencil heel and side part curly hair and also with not too big black earrings, my blouse is black in colour of the satin. Hey, nope, it won’t look overdressed even if it’s in the daytime. A farewell as an occasion as memorable as that overweighs in importance from the location and time. So just slay in confidence!!!! // for earrings, since the saree would be bling enough, you can go for smaller danglers or chaandbalis or statement studs :)

So: Height: 5 foot 7 inches Bust: 32 inches Waist: 27 inches Hips: 37 to 38 inches Shoulders: 15 inches Weight: Around 52 to 53 kg These are my measurements and I'm like pretty lean and don't have alot of curves, meri 10th ki farewell aney wali hay and my mother is saying if I wear a saree, it will look like hanger par kapre latke hain because meri body isn't filled out. I'm Pakistani toh that's another reason she doesn't want me to go for a saree but maybe a lehenga. I think k agar sahi measurements aur material lein toh I'll look good. Any recommendations from people who regularly wear sarees?

First of all please don't feel any bad about your body measurements, and don't let anybody either. there's always something for everyyy one, and traditional clothes are pretty inclusive in that case. For saree, you can go for organza fabric as it can make you look bigger if you want that. or maybe avoid fabrics like silk and (they wrap well around the body). i think exploring online about more fabrics can help you out a lot as im not that much of an expert either. ❤
