What's your opinion on bloodlines? I feel like too often when we first start we tend to chase after what's winning now or what's hot. Obviously there's nothing wrong with that route. Is it necessary to drop 5k on a GFL pigeon with no racing or breeding records to be competitive in this sport? Can you buy 2nd, 3rd or 4th generation gfl birds and so on and still compete? How should someone new aquire good birds without having to pay up so much and still be competitive?

Blood lines are everything! Yes you can compete with second third or fourth generation if you know what you’re looking for. ..My video on eyesign and breeding teach you this. A good way to acquire good birds is to go to the top flyers in your club and see if you can purchase some late breds. Good luck to you thanks for watching.

Good day Sir. Can you please further explain what happens when you pullout the 5th flight from the birds tail? Why do we need to do this in the first place? And why we have to pull the remaining 5? Thank you for your time sir! Newbie here.

They produce in all shapes and sizes. Personally concentrate on a proven family of birds get to know the breed first before you have a loft full of different looking birds. Remember a good pigeon eats the same as a bad pigeon sometimes they eat even more. The breed is important first and foremost.
