It doesn’t matter where you place the tag….it gets detected even if you put it in your centre hand console.

Thanks man. I also really wanted to put it in the same location but some people said you couldn't put it on the little black spotty area because it might block the signal. I just did it anyway. Hope it works. lol.

It actually states if your windscreen has black dots to place the tag within that area

What side if the tag should face up? The side with the barcode or the side with the 10 digit number

Does not matter which side is up. Had a tag right side and currently upside down and ways working fine. As long as rhe atag is in a clear area.

I think you will find id does matter It used to be barcode facing downward towards the dashboard

No need to be charged, just install. Had one last approx 10 years before passing away through grneral use. Hope tbis helped you

I got my etags today but it didn't come with a wipe :( what should I use?

Can use windex glass cleaner will work ok. If have a liquid like water will work after the glass cleaner. Neex to make sure tjat the site is spotless and completly dry. Then can place the holder on and make sure that you can take the tag off car when the car is sold. If you are able leave the tag off for a couple of hours or overnight to let the clue to cure. Hope this helps you.

Some people insist it might not work but I also put mine in the dotty spotty area. Any lower and it blocks my view. I have heard from plenty of people that say it works just fine as long as it's at least an inch or two below the top of the windshield.

Current location tag is hidden behind the rear view mirror. Have taken the old off and was not hard from the passenger side.

E tags are used on tolled or pay as you go roads in Australia. Are there any of these roads in the Unitrd Kingdom.

@@johnswitte no not what I've heard of basically at our tolls they make you stop and there's asistance people there and you would pay with your card or money and the barriers are locked

We drive under a gantree and it pick up the tag and takes out the correct monies out of the companies account without stopping Just need to top the account from time to time.

@@bandi642 Not really. Has a few there and had no difficulties as the tag slides to the left. Even changing the mounting arm is not hard.
