When my kids were little they would have loved the trains. In the 1960s we had a nabor who had a train like these that ran all the way around his house.

Sorry for the delay in commenting. Ironically, this weekend was our company's trade show. You make a great point - if it is well executed everyone has a fun and relaxing time. But making that happen takes a lot of work. Safe travels to Model A days ~ Chuck

Thanks Paul Very easy 10 point to follow. How about hints for those are following one a of these tours.. 1-have your car ready for a tour. Don’t have this be the first time you drive the for a while, Full tank of gas, check all fluids. Check tires for wear and pressure. 2-Pay attention when leader when he/she is going over tour. 3-look over any hand outs. 4- ask questions. How fast do they plan a going. 5-tell leader if you are having issues with your car before leaving. 6- if you’re able volunteer to be the last car to help those that have problems. 7- try to stay close to the car in front of you. Don’t get too spread out. 8- You are responsible for the car behind you. Make sure they see you make a turn and that they make their turn. That helps so that nobody will get lost. 9-if you are driving modern follow the “A’s” 10 thank the leader for the fun time.

There are similar railroad parks in Southern Oregon that our chapter has visited several times. The miniture trains bring out smiles from both young and old.

Thanks for the tips on planning an event like this. I'll be sure to pass these recommendations on to our club. The beauty is that anyone can do this and increase the participation rate as well as enjoyment! Some great venues are not available due to some of the points you brought out. But there are plenty more that fit the bill. Happy model A motoring!! Aoogaa!

The place to eat part of the video is so that we can sit down and enjoy our picnic lunches. If your tour is to a restaurant, then you can skip the picnic part.

I'm looking, but do you have a video of tips, clues and suggestions for driving on highways? I assume drive toward the right side of the right lane, use a DOT slow-moving vehicle orange & red triangle placard, drive with the lights on... Do you have a "so you're going on a road trip..." Video?
