The state of Washington, where we live. We had a choice to pay toward state long-term care Plan, but we opt-in to buy the private long-term care insurance. Because we can take everywhere in United States if we move to another state.

The costs of long term care are terrifying. I’m going to watch Friday the 13th to relax now.

Can you reimburse yourself in the future via HSA to fund these LTC policies? Similar to how you can reimburse yourself for insurance copayments.

Hey Ari, two quick questions on the Early Retirement Academy: 1. Does that include the software/tool in perpetuity, or is it only for a year or some other duration and then needs to be "renewed"? I saw the lifetime note in the website, so perhaps this question is unnecessary! 2. Does that include any upgrades to the tool you and the team make over time? I'm still early in my process, but would like to start that planning and what if process. Fantastic content as always, thank you for the high quality information!

1. Please read the website. It’s for life! 2. You will receive any upgrades made. Enjoy!

@@earlyretirementari One follow up, I read from others that several features are "locked" in the software. For example, when you adjust the returns to be aggressive or conservative, the setting is locked with no drop down to change it. Can you clarify if all the settings you use and share are available, or if there are in fact locked aspects of the software / tool? Given there are no refunds, I wanted to be 100% sure that it is indeed the full use of the tool and all drop downs / settings.

Ari if I have Long Term Disability coverage from my employer for now would buying additional long-term care be redundant?

Disability and LTC are two different things

just get a "Benjamin". this is why you make a few sacrificial kids. the first you sacrifice to God, 2 middle kids just in case one fails, and a "Benjamin" ( a youngest child that will take care of you in your dying years. ) kids are an opportunity for starting a generational house and generational wealth. IMO, IME

WTH are you talking about?! I'm not sure if I'm missing something or if I should be offended!
@Andre-qo5ek16 күн бұрын
@@METVWETV 1) sacrificing the first born. like the blood magic in the bible. like god did to jesus. [ this one is tongue and cheek] 2) the is always a screw up that gets into irreparable financial debt , or something of the like that makes them a parasite to the family estate. we used to be able to "send them away" , or lock them in the attic... but that doesn't work now. 3) a "Benjamin" = the youngest in a family that ends up sacrificing the most to be the care takers for everyone else, since they are all older and general the older people die first. especially when the age gape is significant.
