How To Plan Outfits Effectively So You Always Look & Feel Good

In this video I share with you my step by step guide of how to plan outfits for the week. Even if you don't want to plan your outfits for the week, you can still use this guide to plan your outfits for the day before or for special occasions.

I also share tips on how to get inspired to create outfits from scratch. At the end of the video, I walk through planning an outfit from beginning to end so you can see exactly what my thought process is when planning an outfit.
I hope this video helps give you plenty of outfit planning ideas, shows you that you can start from nothing and find inspiration to help turn that nothing into something gorgeous!
When you set out to plan outfits for the week, you have to make sure you are first organised. I haven't spoken about wardrobe organisation on my channel yet, but I would be happy to discuss it in more detail in another video. The reason why planning outfits for the week can be so beneficial, is because it helps to reduce stress and decision fatigue. We can all agree that waking up in the morning, being in a rush and trying to put together a super stylish outfit under pressure can be very stressfull. BUT waking up in the morning and having your entire outfit already planned and hanging up ready to go (including underwear and accessories) reduces that stress and reduces the amount of decisions being made in the morning. Making decisions early in the morning when we are still half asleep can put us in a really bad mindset and attitude for the day. No one wants to start off their day like that!
If you can't organise and plan your outfits for week then I recommend at least trying to use my techniques to organise your outfits for the day before.

The best thing I've done to help me plan outfits is to take a picture of my outfit if I like it! When I don't have the energy to plan or think, I just look through my pics. I realized I have a ton of pieces, but not really outfits, so having pics of completed outfits is fantastic :)

Thank you for sharing these brilliant ideas. I wonder how you manage if you change your mind the next day and you are in mood of wearing something different. Planning a week ahead does not work for me, unfortunately. I change my mind constantly. Planning ahead is fun with making pics but it will consume my time once I realize the next morning I am into, let's say black outfit (instead of the planned outfit) today! Cuz high waisted jeans cover a big part of your stomach, so if you eat a lot and your stomach expands, the pants can start to dig into your stomach and feel really uncomfortable and tight.
