@@DpOutdoors1 this is my first year doing food plots and I done one in a field full of golden rod and mares tail , I sprayed it, ran over it with 4 wheeler to lay it down, sprayed again like 2 weeks later, planted with a really good rain and I have awesome brassicas! Took a little while to get started but when they finally got a good root they blew up! Only pre prep I done was I weed eated and limed really heavy at the end of February and I limed heavy again when I planted, we have had minimal rain and you can't even really tell! Not busting that top layer helps save a ton of moisture! Try it you won't regret it, and the weeds took quite awhile before they started coming back and there minimal really

@@troybrake5686I’ll have to try it, I was gonna do a micro plot in the woods no till just plant but never got around to it, I mainly tilled because I didn’t spray any weed killer but definitely I would have to agree from what I’ve seen if you spray you probably don’t need to till as you said
