Thank You Scott. I have to move a lime that my daughter planted next to my garage an a orange that my son an friend planted too close to a fence! If only they would have asked me beforehand! This video has given me encouragement to do these projects so I thank You Scott. Hopefully I’ll be getting a few Passion fruit to plant along my chain link from my sons friend.( His friend is just a Awesome gardener. She’s 22 and has transformed her parents front yard into a vegetable an fruit garden. So many wooden planter beds 😮She really wants to help feed the community. ) I know I have to keep Passion fruit under control 😄😄but that’s my next to do project. Take care & stay safe an Enjoy the nice weather coming your way I hear it’s going to be nice. Best wishes to you & your family!🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱

😊thanks so happy. Love fruit trees. I need smaller trees that can give me fruit. Had a great dwarf Italian lemon tree it took a few years but finally decided to wake up and give me the most beautiful tasting Sicilian lemons and of course my ex-boyfriend just thought it was dead. It was just probably sleeping and he threw it out along with my fig tree that’s why he is my ex-boyfriend, he has no idea of how beautiful it is to grow and see things mature, and you can finally eat from that beautiful little seedling so he remains my ex boyfriend, no feelings whatsoever. If it was up to him, he would just put concrete over everything excuse me, but he is a ass call bless you. Looking forward to this. Thanks a lot happy new year.

So far we have a pear tree that we bought and also the stock tree we grew from a pear seed. Hoping to graft a branch in the future. But would really like a plum and peach tree. This property did have plum trees before but I remember weird bumps on the branches so will have to learn more about that first. At least thanks to you I know how to prune/shape them. Too bad apricot trees don't grow here in Ontario Canada

Thank you . Question: how long before bearing fruit?
@ScottHead
@ScottHead Жыл бұрын
With the exceptional root size and well developed limbs on this tree, maybe two years? We shall see. Sometimes they bear right away but the quality isn't good until the tree is older.

Great visual and how long before it will produce fruit. I'm in Ohio and also when is the best month to prune it?
@ScottHead
@ScottHead Жыл бұрын
This variety can bear fruit almost as soon as it is able to blossom. I expect fruit next year, it blossomed a bit very early on this year but no fruit formed. Prune any time it is dormant for shape, prune in mid-summer to stunt growth.

Scott is that your son or your son in law? Scott my one seed challenge my Lemon Drop Pepper I tried to winterize it covered it and wrapped it and today for next couple of weeks I took off covering and watered a little! The stems were nice and green!! I think being in the corner by the fence really paid off. Hopefully!! But lots of my stuff got burnt Scott what can you do to help your plant's recovery from a hard freeze??

I don't like pecan trees, around here they are bothersome, pest magnets and bring in the squirrels. My son had a dozen of them on his previous property and they were not fun. I have seen well cared-for pecan trees thrive and give good yields but its just not for me.

Why are you planting an apricot tree if you have a dog? Seeds are deadly to dogs. Am I wrong?
@RoofTopPigeon
@RoofTopPigeon 8 ай бұрын
most dogs instinctively stay away from this stuff; they have learned to do so; since before domestication; has an survival technique; besides dogs are meat eaters; so the better majority of dogs would walk right past this anyway. Fruits and Vegetables Have about has much nutrition to dogs; has a cupcake does to humans. For Dogs; Fruits and Vegetables are just empty calories; the same way a cupcake is empty calories to humans; Their Digestive System Just "Works Differently" than ours.
