I always wanted to have a Flying V guitar since I was a kid watching Vanhallen from Dexter's Lab surfing in the air with his Flying V in spectacular fashion. And since I've been thinking about getting another axe, this video may be heaven sent

I remember those episodes with the Justice Friends! Good times. The flying V is a wicked cool shape with lots of advantages and drawbacks. When looking at V's, be sire to look where the strap buttons are and where the output jack is. For example, the Solar V shape has the most comfortable top bevels on the universe but the back is flat and the output jack is on the lower horn, which does rub against one's leg

@@HighZ I'm pretty sure the Solar V's have the outpack jack on the back of the guitar on the lower horn, the Solar X has the outpack jack on the lower horn where your leg would be

It's never too late to pick up guitar again! And now if it's a V shape, you're prepared 😆

Hey! Hope you are doing great. Can you please make a video how the playing and feel differs from a compound radius neck to a normal one? Like is sweep picking more challenging and stuffs like that. I have seen people talking about the difference in taking care of the different fretboards but not about the different techniques it may or may not require. Anddd can you tell me if an ibanez lo pro edge will fit in a jackson pro plus series rhoads with an OFR cavity? If it doesnt fit what measures should be taken??

Hey that's a great idea, I'll see if there's time someday to make a video on compound radius fretboards. It doesn't affect technique too much but you do feel it, so if there's a 10-14in compound, and you don't like 10 inch radius fretboards, then you won't like playing many if the frets on that side. As for the jackson question I can't really say since I've never owned one. Only ever played a jackson once for a few minutes
