It Ab Major more difficult , but more practice to become easy . Nice ! 😊

Yep! I felt the same way. Any scale with the 3rd valve adds a bit more difficulty BUT... All scales are easy at a very slow tempo. Keep practicing. Don't worry about playing it fast. Worry about playing it right and having it iso ingrained to where you can hardly ever forget it.

In the D flat scale lesson, you said, open the second slide a bit for the F note (valve 1) cos its flat so it tunes it, so why does it not apply to this scale, it’s same note 🤪🤔👍

No worries! I'm always fascinated by the number of ways to spell my name haha...long tones in the low register is what I've to secure the low register. I figured out how to get down there efficiently by using the chromatic scale at a slow tempo....all slurred. then repeatedly tonguing each note until my sound was full and resonant.
