Sometimes you get those people who swap to Orisa and hard focus you ALL game. They’ll chase you til the end of the earth. These Orisas are perhaps the easiest dub because they’ll chase you all over the map. They abandon their team chasing you with a slow character, all the while you can easily kite the Orisa and bully her teammates with your high mobility.

Unfortunately, that orisa will have a life weaver who just pulls her back, rinse and repeat. Not only that, but she'll have a mercy nano boost and kill my team if I try diving the enemy back line

@@kassaken6521 if an orisa is able to focus you with life weaver thats still 2 damages that are unprotected. your team needs to be focusing them. you still run circles around orisa even with javelin and your cool downs are over hers. getting one good punch on the life weaver (who will try to run away) and that orisa chasing takes away 2 key roles in the enemy team for your teammates to pick off

I don't know if its the most annoying, but yes you can no longer stun the heal and hook+trap does 300+ dmg burst. For what I got, i would say, bait hook (like fake charge punch,fast peak corners), don't block when he has hook, use the punch stun for when he's anti or low, shoot the trap, you can still farm a bit with primary on him, and try not to commit in the back at hook range/without cover. At least that's what i got from playing recently, but a vid would be great.

The top down map analysis is awesome, especially since we can see which way the players are facing. Super helpful to realize how even in GM the players are distracted by backline action. I've only been playing doom for probably 40 total hours and I have been so much more aware of what's going on in the game because of your guides. Having a team dump an ana nade, sleep dart, bap lamp, and just for you to jump back to your team is so rewarding. I’m a GM sigma main who picked up Doom season 4. I only played DPS doom for 20 hours in OW1. I have one tricked doom on an alt to low masters. Great video, Quake! It's really refreshing to look at ingoring mentality in practice. What I'd add, in gm5 -1, whenever I play against an Orisa, whtever I do, she is always in my face. If I go into the backline, she runs back and focuses me down. Which I guess gives space to my team and is good, but most of the time, there is no follow-up from them.

Thank you for this guide, yes for me I don't really struggle against Orisa personally as a matter of fact whenever the enemy tank switches to Orisa to deal against me it's usually somehow an easy win XD The only tanks I personally struggle against are Hog and Mauga tho lol. Whenever Hog hooks me, even if I go backline or play safe, if he hooks me it's usually game over, and Mauga just can't stop shooting, there are barely any openings and if you go to the back line or play safe like usual he will just turn and continue shooting you.

I like this guide there has to be more emphasis on sometimes playing to set your team up for success on every role instead of just trying to secure elims yourself like as Doom or even orisa I use my CC to push people back into my team or move supports away from their own teams LOS . You might not get the pick but your team will clean up . As Sigma use shield to stop Ana from healing, if you get the distance right you either deny heals or you get them to reposition unfavorably Value either way . Plenty of support players should also recognize when to just heal a DPS that can melt faster than if they add their own . Keep both of you alive instead of adding damage so you win more engagements with both of you alive instead of just one . But back to doom/any dive character sometimes annoyance is enough like Winton bubble can split teams , force cooldowns be resource denial but hey if you can slay go ahead just recognize the opportunities and if it's QP don't be afraid to make the big hero risky plays . It's fun and practice stuff out of your comfort zone

​@mistatippy7465 don't listen to these fools Zbra and quaked play against her almost every game. Do quick engages and make sure whenever you slam or punch you have cover to hide behind to break hack. Always think 2 steps ahead have a escape route in mind and when you see the hack flick and punch or slam out even if the ability is hacked if you already activated it you carry the momentum. I'm in masters I play against sombra almost every match it's possible to dominate her especially reworked sombra because you have the mobility to chase her down and follow where she throws translocater. Also one more thing don't be intimated most people that counter swap sombra don't actually main her and as a result suck on her and have less expirence then there main abuse this first step is understanding you have the ability to outplay her.

What happens if the Orisa follows you after you dive? In Gold ELO all the brawl tanks make sure that the second they see Doomfist in their backline they immediately turn around. How do you deal with that pressure? Is it regroup to the team or double down in distracting the enemy from the back and trust your team to take space?

I think it’s dependant on the map and your current position - doubling down is usually okay if you have a near-guaranteed escape plan (which is something doom should ALWAYS have). If you’re not confident about being able to come back to your team or survive the fight, go to the nearest place that you might consider ‘safe’ and try to regroup with your team from there OR find health packs if you know where they are. Shambali’s last point is a good example because of the wall you can easily get over to escape. Stalling the enemy team and giving your team more space is usually worth being down the tank for a short time.

he literally said you don’t have to directly dive supports. *DISTRACTING* them is just as useful as killing them because both make it so that they can’t actively heal her. Save your cooldowns and just use ur primary to pick off damage and if you need to get out you’ll still have all 3 cooldowns.

I learned how to do this the hard way. Orissa isnt bad by herself but when its Orissa, Sombra, Mcree and any support with cc my life is pain. Such an annoying inconvenience to deal with but i still can pull off a win in most cases.

Dealing against Sombra can be easy the only problem is when the enemy comp is a straight-up CC Spam comp. And I still hate that Sombra's hack is so forgiving and yet it gets too much value. In my opinion, Hack should be more precise and be dead center reticle at least within the first .25 secs. and that she should instead have Tracer blink mechanics where Sombra only has 2-3 Hacks, each on a 3-4 cooldown so that she has to be careful with using it and also so that she quits spamming it on Tanks. Like yeah sure 2.0 Sombra gets to infuriate Tanks by Hack spamming, but if the Tank knows what they're doing you can win the game despite the Tank Hack spamming.
