*Open Me For Latest Info (Guide Is Still Valid As Of: 06/26/2024)* Guide is still valid aside from a few numbers being changed. He is still played the same. Focus on building empowered punch and going for kills and have 1 ability to escape with at all times. Don't forget to open the description of the video and read it all. (open this comment for extra tips at bottom) I stream almost daily on Twitch so come drop a follow & Check out the Doomfist community *My Socials:* ▶ Twitch: www.twitch.tv/GetQuakedOn ▶ Twitter: twitter.com/GetQuakedOn ▶ Discord: discord.gg/mU8Rdzk ▶ TikTok: www.tiktok.com/@getquakedonttv ▶ Second Channel: www.KZbin.com/GetQuakedOnClips *Doomfist Mains Community:* ▶ Doomfist Mains Discord: discord.gg/gnqrDN6 ▶ www.reddit.com/r/DoomfistRollouts/ ▶ www.reddit.com/r/DoomfistMains/ *Doomfist Info* ▶overwatch.fandom.com/wiki/Doomfist ▶tinyurl.com/FixDoomfist 7:34 - you mitigate 100 damage not 90! (or 125 raw damage) *Random Tip #1:* B/c dooms punch can stun enemies, it is recommend to cancel ultimates / abilities like Reaper Ult, Pharah Ult, Sigma Rock, Hog Hook, Cassidy Highnoon, Moira Ult, Rein Ult, and Lucio Ult etc... *Random Tip #2:* If you ever want to punch deep into the enemy backline make sure you have Slam/Ult to escape with. It is important when you are punching in that you have at least some cover to hide behind to reduce the incoming damage but also very important that you have slam or ult to get out with. *Random Tip #3:* Baiting CC Abilities kzbin.info/www/bejne/injWgoRphLSNisk *Random Tip #4:* Primary Fire Tip: kzbin.info2BqupL6vCsY *Doomfist Powerblock:* You have to mitigate 100 damage (125 raw damage) to get Empowered Punch - If you look down while powerblocking you will expose your head hitbox more which makes you take more damage and more damage = faster empowered punch build up - If you look slightly up while powerblocking you will block your head hitbox to take in less damage

Thanks for Guide Honestly its still gonna be stressful for The lower Doom Mains cuz Any game i get into and Pick Doomfist for tank I instantly! get shit talked for Ohh god hes playing doom hes throwing everyone lets shit talk him etc. Granted I Do report them espically with VC being recorded now but Still its something that really gets annoying and I easily Get triggered when someone whines or crys about it. So anytime I Run into someone who crys I Say Oh well cry more Blame Blizzard for the Crap change lmao. and I just 1 trick doomfist and we lose Mostly Because the teammates of mine are To Focused on Raging or Crying im playing doom when there own Gameplay is the reason we lose Because i mostly do almost all of this from watching Quakes Vods and stuff And slowly Changed my Dooming was from the OG Old OW1 DPS Doom To Tanky Doom but even then still is a struggle but this video makes it alot more easier. Thanks man. (Quaked If its possible Try to talk to blizzard convince them to make doom a Dps again but keep these abilities and up the damage I know 100% hed be so GOOD ;) ) Heres hoping worth a try? lol

I never played Doom in OW 1, but it seems to me that hes better as a tank. He still beats the piss out of people and lives a lot longer. I guess old doom was just 1 shotting like 85% of the cast? To me he feels like a DPS tank or somewhere in the middle.

@@in_vas_por8810 You don't understand.. There's just a certain thrill you'll get when killing opponents in a really unexpected way. It's the kind of thrill where you know you pissed off or at least annoys your opponent but they're helpless against it. In ow1 I can really feel it when playing balls(especially when double boops is really a thing) and doomfist (by using rollouts to suddenly shows up from god knows where and giving my opponent a sudden death). There's also the bonus of it being really cool for clips and at the same time seems cheap enough that it will piss my opponents even more when they see the highlight.

@@shinqqing5161 Lol I understand completely bro... You like to style on people and delete them in a way that boggles their mind. You want them to feel helpless and afraid. I am that kind of player too, in many games, but from what I hear, OW 1 was extremely broken. They are trying to make the game more balanced and I feel like Doomfist can still style on people. I mean just watch Quaked. It's more of a chess game now and I'm loving Doom because I can do the tech that he still has left.

I think there should be also some tips, like always try to use ur melees when slammed an enemy, cause it's free 30 DMG, and it can be very useful if u ran out or primary fire, also his punch stops lots of ults or abilities, like, it stops cassidy, reaper, Moira ults, stops DVAs rockets ability. If timed well, it can stop lucio, Reinhardt's ults, which are literally game changing ults. These are small tips, but as You say, all small things in doomfist can do big plays. I've played only 50 hours on doom, and all these tips i had to discover myself, even now i discover such "obvious" things as when doom in ult, he recharge abilities faster, i just though ult automatically recharge it. Anyway, Thanks GetQuakedOn for this vid, I've learned lots of things from it, hope to get better

When OW2 first dropped I began playing doomfist as a joke because of how bad he really was. I would get told to swap by my group and it was always a good laugh but I found that doom was one of the most fun tanks to play. I took a liking to his playstyle and started watching your content more. Gradually I began learning things like block tech etc. I even found some funny things you could do like on Nepal, you can slam in front of the horses on point and get sent directly up. Now it's season 2 and doom got the well deserved buff he needed. Thanks for the guide and the motivation to learn and improve on doomfist :) Edit: I commented this two months ago when I was low masters, and now I finally got GM1/rank 36. Thanks for your help

Been playing since beta but DF was the never character i never learned because of the rollouts on dps. Now that hes a tank I need him in my kit and out of all the content out there, this was the most helpful by far.
