How to play Angmar (Outdated Video - Pre Middle Earth Edition)

Hey:) I love watching the videos of this series but it always got some bad aftertste watching this and knowing that it is outdated. I would rly love to see new versions of these videos but I understand that this is a lot of work and in a few years these new videos might be outdated again. But what may be possible is a "update video" for all the factions where you only go through the changes since the last video and possible new tactics due to the changes. I of course fully understand if you say "all this time is just not worth it" and I of course will keep watching this channel and all the other content is just great too, but I just wanted to tell you this cause I always loved these "tutorials" and even the outdated ones already helped me so much in the past. I am starting to collect an Angmar force. What drew me into it is it's aesthetic and uniqueness.

1GoodRiddance We can absolutely see why you like it due to the uniqueness. Very few players actually play a full Angmar force. Only only have two angmar players in our whole league

Hey was looking at angmar, and im curious if you can stack the shade's ability? Just thinking it would be nice to have 2 or 3 and then a small squad of trolls to just go around winning fights and dealimg lots of damage, might even add the shadow lord and loose the army bonus, just to deal with those arrows

The Shade's rule dues not stack (which is a good thing for this game lol). Though feel free to ally anyway since Angmar does not currently have an army bonus.....yet..... I'm hoping the new rules change this a bit.

Some very good info, I really should get some more Angmar stuff since i have all the Orcs, shades and barrow wieghts. just need some wraiths and trolls.

spectres dont have to be able to see the enemy to use their special rule.

Hey! New to the game, I have not played a game yet but I am interested in starting together with some friends of mine. I found this channel recently and I really like the content. I have a question regarding Angmar. Could a list containing only Spirits be playable? Something like this: - Ringwraith/Ringwraiths on horse and/or foot (could be named variants as well), painted like their twilight version (are there special rules for their more spectral version?) - Gulahvar - 3-4x barrow wights - 3x shades - ?x Spectres I am basing the list on the models I find cool, and I like the idea of having a spirit-theme going. It does not have to be a list worthy of tournaments. Edit: After some points tinkering, what about a list like this? 1x Gulahvar 1x barrow wight 1x shades 3x Spectres total = 395pts

I personally love spirit themed Angmar Armies! I agree that they are not competitive but they sure are a lot of fun! Keep in mind that if you want to venture out of the spirits to get some troops, you can just paint orcs to look spectral. That way your army can last a lot longer on the tabletop in case you fight a balanced force. As for your question - Yes you can have an army of all Heroes and thus your list is perfectly legal :)
