Hard to believe September 20, 2023 was 50 years since Jim passed away. Didn’t know he was from Philly turned out he’s buried right down the road from where I live. I stopped over there couple months ago He’s in a Jewish cemetery in Frazer Pennsylvania. When you drive to the office look to your right, there’s some big white pines and that’s where Jim was laid to rest

I like it. Only thing I do different is I use G, A7, B7, C, and D7 and I also include the slap strum and it gives it that blues sound with a beat.

I do that on purpose, I have to make it a little hard for you so that you will find the progression on your own. that's the style of teaching that I have come to use and I find if you can use your mind to remember and understand rather than read, comfort levels come much quicker with playing memorized songs. good luck and stick with it!!
