Hey man-wanted to say thanks for all the help-I've been watching your videos for a while and trying to implement everything I learn-I really enjoy them ,been playing for a few years now and I'm really getting into it even more now-you playing and singing,a random open mic night here and there-but I can't afford a guitar teacher,and you have helped overcome so many musical hurdles-anyway I just wanted to thank you-your awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!! KEEP ON PLAYING AND TEACHING-

Chad, thank you so much for the super kind words! I so appreciate that. And I am thankful that you are finding some instruction in my videos. Please let me know how else I can help and take advantage of my free course or my one dollar trial offer on my website.

I'm the same way. I don't like the clicking sound the pick makes vs. fingers. I've tried different picks and got the same. I think it's just a matter of just doing it more until it gets to feeling familar. I never had these problems with my air guitar! :\
@yourguitarsage9 жыл бұрын
+Contessa “GaPeach0770” Blue ha ha! True! I can play air guitar flawlessly. Yes, you are right, you will get used to the pick and it won't make the clickety-clack sound in short time.

Hate to bug you-but here's a problem I seem to have-I can play everything pretty well,but for whatever reason I seem to have difficulty using a pick-i use my fingers-picking and thumb brush techniques-any thing that can help me progress to actually using the pic instead of my fingers all the time?-thanks for taking the time-
@mblimmina9 жыл бұрын
I have that same problem, too. I feel very uncoordinated with a pick, but can do anything with my fingers.
@yourguitarsage9 жыл бұрын
Chad, you most likely are using a thicker pick than what your hand wants. I have a video to for this I know for sure in my online course and maybe here on KZbin. Go to the store and get some assorted picks specifically some thinner nylon pics and try strumming again. This will help a ton! I promise!
