Thanks for yet another interesting lesson Rob. Really love the way you make great classic songs accessible for the beginner via the 'idiot-proof' downloads etc. Don't know if you're aware of a totally different acoustic version of 'Bad Moon Rising' by Thea Gilmore on her 2004 album 'Loft Music"... Possibly not to everyone's taste but well worth a listen if you've not come across it before...

Great tune!! After retiring and picking up a life dream of playing guitar, first thing I learned…. Very advanced version of pat head-rub belly -and switch. Really makes a wrist sore doing bar cords.

Did you know Fogerty plays E, A, and B with the guitar tuned a whole step down so that the tonality is in D several of his songs are played like this.
@djgaryowens10 күн бұрын
But most people in bars with guitars play it like the way that you do,its one very easy song to transpose to a key that suits the singer, being only 3 chords.

Just a quick question Rob, what strings are you using please?
@fennahrob69349 күн бұрын
Earthwood light.
@richardfromcornwall54928 күн бұрын
@ thanks Rob. They actually sound warmer than a light string?
@mariancol24289 күн бұрын
Can it also be played on the electric guitar? I have the strings too close and it sounds fake...
