The very first video I ever produced in my CSUF film production class was highlights of Fresno State baseball games set to a Fogerty song called Centerfield. A young lady whose name I cannot remember helped me film all of the scenes over the course of two nights. I wish I could remember her name. It was one of the best things I ever put together.

We were at my wife's cousins wedding a few years ago and at the reception, they were playing this modern trash music (boring) and all the sudden the Dj put on some CCR starting with Bad Moon Rising and buddy the feet went to shuffling around on everybody after hearing that famous guitar lick. My wife's 85 year old uncle , slapped his hands together and said ,"it's about time they played something good" , he jumped up and grabbed a young gal and tore the dance floor up with her , stealing the show , he's gone now but uncle Rodger and CCR stole the show. PS , he was 100% correct when he said it's about time they played something good , great memory i thought I'd share, and i hope John F. and the band members see this and know they had an old man moving like he was 18 again and their music got the party started, awesome story. I'm glad i was there to see it. Thanks for the memory 👍🙏👍.

It would make the strings looser and notes all two half steps lower. Other than that, you'd still use the same chord shapes. Joni Mitchell, OTOH, used oddball tunings that only make sense on her own songs.

I remember how excited and mesmerized I felt, the first time I heard Proud Mary. Creedence was truly a unique and clasic rock group. As a young teenagers, my sisters and I had a running joke, everytime we heard Bad Moon Rising, it was a premonition that one of us would be “in trouble” with our parents by the end of the day. I still love Bad Moon and the unique sound of Creedence Clearwater Revival to to this day. Thank you John Fogerty.

They did not disappoint. I saw them at Randwick Race Course in 1972 with Sherbet as supporting act. Ticket price was $4.40

DAMN! love it! as a young poor boy I'd run home after school and listen to radio hoping to catch a CCR song, I picked bottles to make enough to buy a 45 RPM record of Lodi, Bad Moon Rising at a downtown Kresgee's, something like that? Ever since then I always had they're (CCR/John Fogerty) music playing on 45 RPM, a 33.5 Album, 8-track take, cassette tape, CD, and now all my music is on an SD card in my 2022 Ram pick-me-up truck, lol. Never get tired of genius's music, loved the Blue Ridge Rangers too! Keep em coming John and I'll keep on listening...one more thing! It's awesome seeing your children in on the act too! I saw Creedence Clearwater at the Long Beach Auditorium (CA) in 1969. I loved it. That concert taught me something about professionalism. They were so good!! A lot of times the person or group doesn’t sound like they are on an album, etc. Not Creedence; they gave it all they had and definitely did not disappoint.
