She hit one and I got the other) we thought game was over but Got cheated out of a game saying we didn’t win cause there wasn’t one last cup standing. No, then it's balls back. The only time it's automatically over is when the ball goes into a cup twice. So either the opponents forgot to remove it or the ball goes into a cup while they're holding it or they put it away but it's still full. We call that the death cup

that’s how we played as well. im just watching this to see how many different versions are out there & there’s quite a few. for redemption / rebuttal we only have to hit one cup for the game to continue but that cup stays in play. it really does just come down to house rules.
