Great video! I've been waiting for this refresh for years so I could begin my own successor chapter that plays up the gothic vampiric aspect of the BA. I converted Dante into my own black-armored chapter master, even had my own transfers made based on the tarot's three of swords. I'm doing such an aesthetic overhaul that I'm not feeling the complaints many others have about the new models. I am very happy with them, especially the new captain and the upgrade sprue heads. I Appreciate your insights. As for the Sanguinor, I think he would be much better using different color choices. I think the sculpt is good. I think the problems come from the execution.

Thank you! That’s actually a brilliant idea - I feel that BA are underutilizing their vampiric aspect and what you’ve described sounds very interesting. Where have you ordered the transfers from if you don’t mind me asking? I’m also not that worried about the new models, because there are so many 3D party bits nowadays that you can easily mend all the existing issues. I do feel the pain of people that want to get a complete product from GW, but to that I can say that you can easily remove GW from the chain of sale at all using 3D party models and save money this way, which would be a positive influence on GW to invest more effort into the models they create. Any company, no matter how big or small needs motivation to stay alert and keep trying to make a better product, so that’s actually doing a service to GW if you ask me.

@@vfminiatures hey, my first response disappeared, so I will try again: I got the transfers from a person on Etsy called Token Gamer. He designs the graphic and prints the transfers for 25 dollars. I sent him an image and he copied it exactly. After that, he made an addition of two blood drops on either side of the symbol for me. I thought it was a great deal. I had to practice a lot putting the transfers on because they're incredibly thin and kept curling up. But thin is a good thing once you add micro sol. They look painted on. I would definitely recommend the service. Transfers may not go well over black or dark colors, but it's a small price to pay.

I actually like the Sanguinor model. The wings are cooler in person than in pictures lots of good detail and much needed upscale only thing I hate the is the face but I kit bashed a death mask and it looks great

@@vfminiatures you are not doing it "live" so you could tinker around and try writing a script (be it loose or tight) and then reduce the key information as bullet points on your slides. I like for example Happy Krumpin Wargaming as an example. He talks alot, but his slides are easy to follow. Color-coding certain things, like you do is also a good approach to transport the things you want to talk about. Reception is the message.

Yes, because I wanted to include 4 named characters there was just no space for the enhancements - you can easily swap out Dante for a captain and give him FF which is a great option and is actually cheaper. Also I think I covered the combo of rage FW enhancement and the assault intercessors in the synergies section, but again - no space for it in that particular example list🤗🤗🤗

How would u field Mephiston? And what rule on the battlefield does he fulfill? Cuz I really like Mephiston as a character & as a model, but it seems kinda hard 2 fit him in. :(

I’d use him just as as I’d use combi-weapon lieutenant in the beginning of the game = he goes onto NML objectives that are far enough from enemy guns and does actions for me. One difference - as soon as he can, he will advance and charge mid-durability enemy units and bounce from one of them to another using his fights first as protection from charging, until he is finally brought down. You can also if you want to Rapid him but that’s not mandatory

I don't like the Sanguinor model at all. Nowhere near epic enough, looking at the stormcast celestant prime for a kit bash. Great breakdown, looking forward to getting a hold of mephiston when he's back in stock.

Not really, I’m just not feeling his offensive profile atm, because he’s not doing what I want a tank to be doing, not exactly at least. I’m sure it can be used efficiently in some lists, it’s just not the lists I would want to run/recommend to

@@vfminiatures It is completely understandable and the issue may have been my fault. A couple times a month I routinely mark a ton of emails and move them to spam, your email may have accidentally been clicked so I'm going to assume fault. I received the email and am now responding. Meanwhile, i'm continueing to listen to this video, even though I dont play blood angels. I really love your thought process. If...i mean a very distant IF (because my sisters already cost so much), i ever do a second army, its either going to be Dark Angels...because Belial and the Lion are so damn amazing. I loved the ones you recently showed, I think you can Anna did Dark Angels vs Grey Knights. Or....I would do Custodes, just because Mr Dreamboat Henry Caville plays them.

Just saw a crazy combo of captain jump pack with sanguinary. All models in unit can get +1 str Then you can give sustained hits with rage filled warrior. Equipped him with a thunder hammer and shield devastating wounds and an extra wound. On a charge 36 str 9 attacks. A unit of terminators with a chaplain. Gives 4+ feel no pain. Unit of 6 eradicators. Full unit of hellblasters. Repulsor , repulsor exterminator, land raider. Still have 435 points left. For my salamanders that's another repulsor and repulsor exterminator. The death company dred looks cool and it advances when shot.
