My preferred Ravenwing group is 3x Invader ATV (swap one for a 3x bike squad, if I find the extra points [I'm not a huge fan of most of the enhancements]) and 1x Stormraven. I have to run ICC in every 2k DA list and that's my cross to bear. As for bearing them to the frontline? I like the Stormraven. It activates Illuminating Fire with a decent compliment of its own Lascannon, Melta, and Gatling Cannon. This transport also brings my Brutalis to the front. Swinging a Stormraven around to tactical bump (charge) the rear or side of a death star so that the Brutalis and ICC can charge the front gives me all of the good feelings.

Have you looked into the Dark Angels Stormlance Task Force? I’ve been playing it for a few weeks now and love it.

Honestly, I do not find me ever using fallback/shoot and charge. So it was pretty much a waste for me. I found Carmine Wrath and Their Appointed Hour perform way better, at least for me. Reivers with a lieutenant performed great as well. I had some luck with the death company with the jump chaplain with the prescient flash enhancement. They perform great, you have to get with positioning them, but once you do they performed well. Lemartes was amazing as always. They are way more better then people are giving credit, honestly. They are very expensive which is there main drawback but. I do run a primarily DC only list so maybe I put in way more effort then most are willing to give lol. But I play Blood Angels for the DC so I made it work.

I just reworked my list, and by removing 2 Shield Captains I can add a whole squad of 5 guards and an extra enhancement. Now I have 2 squads of guards and 2 squads of wardens with only 2 Blade Champions to lead them. But I think that's ok. Everything in my whole list is S tier or A. I feel good about that.

Blood angels commander did the math on reivers with the Phobos Lt and they actually outperform here than lag and you'd take the Lt in either detachment because he basically gives a 3d6 charge from deepstrike. Great for stealing objectives

Just got into WH40k and playing against my neighbor’s astra militarum. He got a Rogal Dorn tank for Xmas and I, having just a combat patrol roster + Brutalis Dreadnought, had no answer for it. So, having little time to find a proper answer (and only 1000 point army max for now), bought Repulser Executioner with a techmarine.

@vf.minatures I use all of these and I am very very competitive. The repulsor executioner for instance is incredibly powerful and one shots so many other vehicles and monsters.

Great production but let her talk -- it's distracting when someone is constantly being interrupted.

No one seems to mention the invaders out of phase shooting. Shoot one, the other shoots back. To me, that makes it a very efficient unit. Unless I'm missing something?

I managed to kill Nightbringer C'Tan and almost killed Shard Of The Deceiver with 1Lord of Change with the everstate and 1 Bloodthirster with the khorne enhancement in just one turn. (Soft them with LoC sustained hits, 2+ to hit 4+ to wound, add the sweep attack from Bloodthirster + finish him with Bloodthirster ability - 8dices with mortals on 4+ in the end of the fight phase). The main idea - lots of shots, lots of attacks, sustained hits + mortals-they all work perfectly in a combo against such units, just as described in this video! Bravo :)

Not to mention that fondness to raise thunder wolves 🐺

This is by far one of my favorite non-battle report videos because nothing hits quite like melee lists.

for the JPI i highly recommend kayvaan shrike. the unit gets lone op, which makes it super scary as a rapid ingress unit. just ingress 12.1" away from the enemy and they are save anywhere. they can also return to reserve once per game for free. the unit also gains the phobos keyword in case you play the vanguard detechment (uppi downi and reactive move bonus) even funnier are VV with shrike... they can take melta pistols, rapid ingress, jump into range and shoot

The gravis captain with the new deathwatch detachment and thief of secrets. 6 power fist attacks at 9 3 3 is incredibly powerful. If paired with the indomitor kill team not only does this turn into an 11 3 3 on the charge, if you manage to kill anything with this it turns into 12 4 4 that is very nearly Lion el Johnsons strike profile. Meanwhile, the flexibility that the captain can give a highly durable and hard-hitting unit like the indomitor is incredibly powerful in its own right.
