Awesome video! I think the biggest issue with front line, imo, Vestal is Chaplin doesn't give her more rank 1 or 2 skills. There's no reason ministrations and possibly Divine Grace should be locked to 3 or 4 for Chaplin. I'll have to give her a fair shot after seeing the potential with some good trinkets. Also Occultist has the same problem with Wyrd and crit tokens. He'll use his unchecked power and Crit token when it should really use only one or the other.

Thanks man :) You could argue that maybe giving Chaplain the taunt on Hand of Light like her trinket does might be a good move, I don't see why not...especially since Stand Fast is 1000x better of an ability and gets a taunt on Bulwark looool. I think with just the SMALLEST bit of love, front rank Vestal could be better. Devs clearly wanted to cut her power back compared to the first game, Chaplain Vestal being better would allow for her to still be played but not have the overbearing healing that DD1 had. I hadn't even thought of the Unchecked Power/crit interaction tbh, nice find

im a die hard frontline vestal fan, but i feel vestal in this role is honestly pretty underwhelming and unresponsive to play. her low speed means that getting value for enemy actions (either into conviction via guards or denying them by murdering them) isnt facilitated by her kit. that and the rng aspect of enemy targeting, which is improved but certainly not resolved by guards. her perfect damage roll usually comes at the *end* of round 2 or 3, which is a little weak given that her setup is so defensive. it undermines the value of a damage nuke when enemies are given that much more breathing room by a non damaging, non disruptive character. it makes the other damage nukes, even ones with worse numbers and greater personal liabilities, ultimately more rewarding. theyre quicker, easier, and more consistent to set up, and they usually capitalise on that damage a lot better than vestal can.
