Great video from Marty O'Neill. I highly recommend watching this and doing the drills. My kid is a box goalie and loves his Max Lax shins, pants, uppers, and goalie gloves. A few runners on his team have the ribs and shoulder pads and they are great.maximum Lacrosse makes top notch gear!

The positioning looks very similar to how goaltenders used to do stand up positioning in hockey before butterfly positioning today.

Another trick I learned was to use a hockey net instead of a box lacrosse net to practice, for the same reasons to use a regular stick instead of a goalie stick.
