@Châu Võ no, just connect the control before you start cod mobile, it will tell you at the top of the screen that a control is connected after you load in to cod mobile. An pick what you want to play. It's worth it!

Turns out that some ps4 controllers aren't supported by COD mobile its a known issue that I found out while trying to reach out to COD mobile support.

There’s something wrong. My PS4 controller isn’t working well with COD mobile. If I pick simple control with L2 I get ADS. But it only fires when I’m looking at the enemy. If I pick advanced mode I don’t get ADS at all. Who else is having this issue?

@@carlobrigante881 I wasn't. Within the 9 months of this comment, I have made it to top %0.1 of BR leaderboards. I use tap controls because they're more responsive and you can use multiple touch points for more control. Sure it's nice to have transferrable controller skills but the skill gap from controller to touch controls is huge. If you want to get better, I suggest changing to four finger controls and try to move the buttons to your tastes. Everyone is different.

I don't know if this will help anybody else but I was having issues connecting to my new phone and once I disconnected my Bluetooth ear device I was able to connect my controller and then reconnect my Bluetooth ear device. So try not to have anything connected to Bluetooth when you're connecting the controller until after the controller works. Hopefully it works for you all

In BR especially lately the game and my controller disconnect from each other mid match and it has started really messing with my tablet. Any suggestions on how to make that stop? It worked for me, but when I tried to reconnect my controller to play on my console again, it keeps blinking and won’t connect. I removed the device from my Bluetooth on my phone, I tried resetting my controller, I’ve tried everything I can and now it just won’t connect anymore to my PS4 :( it’ll charge when I plug it in but if I hit the home button it just blinks at me and now I can’t play my console…. Do I just need to buy a new controller :/

Try a different charger in your console, leave the controller for a few minutes plugged in. It will be pulsing yellow, after a little bit press the playstation button on the controller while the controller is plugged in and the console is in rest mode. It should connect after 2 or 3 flash’s but if not you may need to look more into this topic. Best of luck!
