Had to learn chicken picken from a Brit. The guy with the cowboy hat just told me to buy a cowboy hat and the other guy told me to go buy a tele. This video however, was useful.

Hi Adrian, you da man...Aha, In all seriousness, I have to say that Ive been playing guitar for approx. well, quite a while now, and as Im sure like many players out there, my (what I like to call) "my line of improvement", or progress hits a plateau from time to time. I was riding one of these plateau's lately when I came across one of your vids, (comically, it was entitled) something about a good ole country lickin), never the less, your monolog was very clever and it got my attention, and Ive since been a fan and a subscriber! Your approach to teaching , as far as Im concerned is fresh, enlightening, and most of all, very helpful. You have an approach that keeps me focused, and focus = progress! Anyway, bla bla bla... just wanted to drop you a line and let you know that for me, your personality and style of teaching, stands above the crowd, and Im happy I found your vids! Adrian, THANK YOU! Keep it up, and I`m sure like many other players out there, who have found you on youtube, please know the time and effort you put into this, is MUCH appreciated! Cheers mate!

Veteran Blues rock player here looking to make the jump to country. Feels like starting again. I know a lot of country uses the major / major pentatonic scales. Is this best to use as most blues rock tends to use the minor pentatonic scales instead. Of all the videos I've watched so far this has been the most useful as far as the actual technique goes.
