Have you tried Oni Hunter's Garb? I think its passive synergizes perfectly with Cu Chulainn's playstyle.

I was going 2-5 with him, after I watched this video I went 12-4 with 11 assists in joust. Had the most damage and minion by far and had 80k miditagtion. The build is very strong. When you sell boots for the speed pot i'd recommend brawlers beat stick if you need anti heal if not Titans bane for pen or frostbound to single a target out.
