Tbh u gotta be my age and ur the funniest guy on here doing lessons, wish I lived by u so I can share my ideas. Been playing for 8 years now and studied at Berklee since I got disabled from the military. This stuff is the real deal! Dead,Floyd,Allman brothers,Buchanan, stones, some country and blues and some other great lost r&r songs here and there. Heavy jams if we ever get to jam I can tell you that much. Love the JRAD idea but all music not stuck in a box, well all the good shit and a lot more jamming and weird shit to people but the inter-midst of song to song and jam to jam to see where it can be taken. Cool guy here, for all players but if u know how to solo over this stuff he’s the one for you !

Hey Davvy man! Just wanted to say I really dig what you're doing and its kind of inspired me to possibly develop an online presence for fun. It's been a blast learning some of these songs, and it's really helping me progress in my guitar playing. Also, I requested Fire on the Mountain the other night, and although it was a super cliche to request your guys really ran with it and the improvisation was spectacular. Keep it up!

Kudos' for putting the Dark Star tutorial together. A few things worth noting. You mentioned "Loosie Goosie"a few times and I believe you are referring to Loose Lucy - lol. Kidding aside - regardless of the all the times the dead played it, they kept the same framework with the chords. Instead of your lesson teaching A and G chords, they included a D passing chord with an A over it. D/A. Also, according to the official written sheet music "While we can" is with the G and Em chords. Finally, another nuance is inserting a D#dim/A chord into the mix. I'll let you hunt for it. Shall we go, you and I while we can? well.. not exactly but perhaps what you put together here is fun for all, even if you missed the D passing.

hello, there. one-here just subscribed to one's channel and so far the content appears to be a one-derful blend of humor along with fantastic substance. sure, come here to relax yet also definitely be prepared to learn. one just wanted to say thank one so much for creating such quality content. one has been playing music for some time now and the chord changes over the "tear this old building down" part of samson and delilah are totally baffling to one. any insight into this would be hugely appreciated. the rest of the song sounds pretty straightforward with just different combinations of I, IV, V so that seems pretty obvious but with some nice bobby voicings. when it gets to "tear this old building down" it sounds like it takes a jazzy left turn for that turnaround, pun intended. it sounds like a G chord is being played on the word "down". it 's just those four chords leading to it that are just bewildering. again, if available and within the scope of one's volition that one might provide some perspective on this it would be seriously awesome. thank one again so much and have a blessed one! sincerely, one-here.

You got the second phrase of the chorus wrong. You need to hold the word “Through” longer I think they sing it for 5 beats then the ascending line starts on “The transitive nightfall of diamonds” the word diamonds is for that last descending melody. Sounds like you got the rest of it right though.
